I was really excited for this, but was disappointed once I received it. I’m a sculptor myself so I am aware that every piece is going to vary and look a little different. But this was just incredibly off to what was pictured. It’s leaning way back and the pose is really stiff, it’s just shooting up straight rather than having the curves and movements as the pictures advertised. The feet are almost carved flat onto the base. It just looks like a really rushed job, quantity over quality type of work. I would have been willing to wait even longer and get something more carefully done. I trusted the description where it states “hand carved and painted with great attention to detail”, but I would have to disagree. Not returning because I just don’t want to deal with it.
I love the flamingo I ordered. It’s pretty, well done, and high quality.
