I ordered the crow for a friend who is a crow enthusiast. The photo of the crow ornament was adorable and very crow like. The ornament that arrived, however, while beautifully handcrafted and painted black, did not resemble a crow. The beak was narrow and tiny — not crow like at all. Unfortunately painting a generic wooden bird with a skinny beak black does not instantly make it into a crow. Disappointed.

This is NOT a crow. I repeat, what I received is NOT a crow. It is a cute little black bird, but it is not a crow. Beak is too short and the body is too plump. I should have paid attention to the other reviews that mentioned the same thing, but I would have thought that Wooden Islands would have paid attention as well.

I bought this crow for a friend that loves ornaments. When I got it the quality was great but the crow looked less like the photo than I had hoped. It looked almost like a black bird that was sort of crow like. She liked it but I was not exactly impressed
